Individual - An individual is classified as someone who teaches or conducts activities as an individual or through personal interaction and requires assistance with a formal structure. Institution - An institution is classified as someone who in a formal structure offers multiple courses or activities through a group of individuals that represent that organization. The institute may or may not require assistance with a payment gateway. Edutuber - An Edutuber is an organization and/or an individual that engages and teaches through pre-recorded videos on any online video channel.
MCGTV is an embedded Video Streaming service, wherein anyone can share pre-recorded videos that are educational in nature to create more visibility and increase knowledge sharing on any subject matter. This service is Free of Charge.
We are a great platform to list your webinars. For a nominal charge, you can post your webinars and reach out to a more diverse group of individuals that maybe interested in joining them. You can also share your old webinars as an edutuber or on MCGTV to attract more individuals. You can also choose to advertise it on the main page.
www.myclassgenie.com will provide a confirmation email upon successful registration of the course, followed by the instructor contacting the student with links et.al. In case of any issues, you can always write to the platform help desk.
The students will get informed about the course, tutor and commencement date on the platform. Upon successful registration for the course, the student details will be shared with the instructor, who shall provide links and course materials if any.
You will have to list the course as an "ongoing course" and you can block upto 15 sessions under one course. If more than that is required, you will need to add it as a course again and provide a start date from the 16th session.
An ongoing course is a course which does not have a start or end date and anyone can join it at any point of time. A Genie can list a maximum of 15 sessions of an ongoing course. If it has to go beyond 15 sessions, the genie would have to add it again as a course for the remainder sessions.
No. The Genie registration is category agnostic. You can list under any category.
A Genie cannot update any course information after submission. However, a Genie can edit or alter any information that describes the Instructor or Course.
Any plan that a potential Genie signs up for is Valid for either a specified period or for the maximum course listings allowed by that plan, whichever may be earlier. Upon completion a Genie can renew his plan or add on courses depending on the Genie's choice. The Top-Ups can only be done up until the expiration of the plan.
Yes, absolutely. It will only add credibility to your course and more visibility.
Yes, absolutely. You can either choose to add it as a course or even simply choose an advertising plan.

No. We do not charge any commissions. We charge a listing free upfront to the Genie. There is a convenience fee charged to the course-taker if our payment gateway is being used.
It is recommended you use your own. We do own some paid zoom link accounts and can share the same upon availability. We cannot confirm the availability of these links.
No, you do not. You can choose the option during registration that you do not require it and upon the student clicking on "Take the course" it will be redirected to your payment gateway.
A marketing plan is a customized plan to direct traffic on to a specific course. It is customized to the individual or organization's requirement and is available upon request.
Depending on the plan one chooses, we will provide visibility on our landing page. Please understand that there are a lot of courses and while during the Early Bird Offer we will provide banners on our landing page to provide maximum visibility, the visibility depends on the positive popularity of the course, which is dependent on positive reviews by course-takers. The advertisement space will be chargeable on website once the early bird offer ends.
No, we do not promote any specific course. We will promote the platform on the web and as means of doing so, some courses may be highlighted. It will be our continuous endeavor to generate traffic to the website and traffic to a specific course will happen organically. If you would like traffic to be generated to your specific course, you could choose from one of our customized marketing plans.
There could be many reasons for this such as the curriculum, demo video, course description, instructor profile, lack of reviews or lack of awareness. You could set up an appointment with our marketing team to evaluate if a customized marketing plan may resolve this or any further customization of the course is required. We will be happy to assist.
The platform does not differentiate between big brands or individual tutors. It puts everyone on a level playing field and the course profile page, demo videos and reviews allows the course-takers to evaluate and choose what is suited best for them. As a tutor, the more information that you provide on your page, the higher the probability of students choosing your course.
Every Genie gets their own dashboard and each dashboard has a section on course analytics that explains how many visitors are coming to your view your course and clicking on Book Now button.
